Backend Engineer

Description: We are seeking a motivated Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and database solutions while working closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs. Build secure, scalable, and high-performance services. Design and optimize database schemas and queries. Integrate third-party services and APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver new features.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in backend development. Strong knowledge of Node.js, Python, Java, or a similar backend language. Experience building REST APIs. Good understanding of SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with Git and software development best practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD. Experience with Redis or other caching technologies. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
